Enrolment hotline –
Students can inquire about available courses, request a prospectus
and even enrol for a course through an Interactive Telephony
Application. Data regarding the available courses and written
material can be stored in a database and/or on a central fileserver,
this information can then be retrieved live for each incoming call.
Students can then be sent confirmation by fax, email or standard
letter, all generated automatically by the system.
Library book renewals –
Using the phone, students can request book or reference material
availability from the Library. The required material can then be
reserved for the student to pick at a later date. The system
generates a confirmation SMS, email or voice mail message for the
student to remind them of their reservation if required.
Exam Results Verification
– Employers are increasingly looking for proof of a student’s
exam results when he/she is applying for a job. Callers can either
enter the student’s enrolment number if supplied or enter the
student’s name via the touch-tone keypad of their telephone. The
student’s name is confirmed along with their year of attendance
and the student’s exam results can then be read to the caller.
Student Surveys –
Obtain invaluable feedback from students by carrying out telephone
surveys. Students can be invited to call a dedicated telephone
number, where a series of questions can be posed and responses taken
verbally or by scoring a response using the keypad. The results are
immediate as they are entered directly into a database, where
reports are made available. New surveys can be created easily using
our Graphical User Interface.
