Octel Access Server
Technical Overview
The Octel Access server provides a connection gateway for software applications to control the functionality of the Octel Voice/Fax Servers. The Octel Access Server software is the foundation upon which Octel Designer applications communicate with callers and mailbox functions within the Octel Servers. Communication between the Octel Access Server and the Octel Message Server use the TCP/IP protocol.
Compatible with both the Octel Serenade™ and Aria™ software platforms (from version 3.0 onwards), IVR and CTI Applications from 1Voice build additional value on top of the existing Voicemail and Fax services. Using standard LAN connectivity, access can be given to Customer Databases, Internal Systems and Internet Resources to provide true Computer Telephony Integration, providing services such as Order Processing, Fax Back, Process Automation and Mobility solutions.
